Investing Basics

A presentation on investing basics

I was invited by Autodesk’s Singapore office to give a presentation on investing on 30 June 2021. I would like to thank the Autodesk team for inviting me and for the event’s superb organisation. During my presentation, I talked about what stocks are; active versus passive investing; what asset allocation is; and useful resources for individuals to learn about investing. You can check out the slide deck for my presentation below!

  1. Thanks for sharing this! I also follow the Motley Fool and have been an advocate of investing/financial literacy to my friends, and anyone who would listen. Actively looking for ways to improve my pitch – I have nothing to earn from, I just really want to spread the word and get as much people interested in improving their financial wellness. This deck has useful info which are definitely helpful!

    1. Hi Ryan! Thanks for your kind words! Glad to know the deck is helpful for you – Ser Jing

  2. Fabulous array of slides – wish I was there for the presentation 🙂

On page 12 you mentioned a study about how 5000 signals and how they are not consistently profitable. Do you have the link for that? I’d certainly like a look 🙂

    Thanks Ser Jing 🙂
